About two weeks ago, I blogged about a trip to the Lindt Outlet . The post included a photo of everything we bought. Over the weekend when Hey Baby (JP) & Papi (Lyn) came over for dinner, we sat at the dining table and tried a bunch of chocolates:
A Touch of Sea Salt Bar - also known as Excellence Fleur de Sel. Mike and I like this bar because Mike loves anything salty (margaritas) and I love the combination of sweet and salty. Lyn doesn't like this combination and JP was shocked that with the first bite how much salt he tasted.
Excellence Chili Bar - Lyn and JP liked this bar. I think that this was their favorite. Mike and I hated it. I actually got a headache from it and it felt like there was a coating of pepper in the inside my mouth.
Excellence White Coconut Bar - This bar is not available in Canada but it's Mike's favorite. Lyn likes it because it's sweet. I don't like white chocolate and JP doesn't like coconut.
It was kinda cool that we sat there and tasted the chocolates. It was like a wine tasting. I think I want to do this everytime we have people over for dinner. Who needs dessert when you can have a chocolate tasting.

Get Mike (or a fellow choco-holic) to go to lunch, dinner, or high tea with you to MoRoCo Chocolat in Yorkville. I took Marie there for her birthday this year. The food was pretty good, but the desserts were awesome. For reference, the menu is 9-10 pages, and only 2 of them are for proper food. The rest is the various ways you can have chocolate.
