Recipe: TOBLERONE Creme Brulée

This is the third time I have made this creme brulée and it's quite a big favorite. It's simple to make. You can even bake it ahead of time and just do the final touches right before serving.

Toblerone Creme Brulée

Prep time: 20 minutes
Total time: 9 hours and 45 minutes
Makes 4 servings, 1 ramekin (125 ml) each

Need it:
1 cup milk
2 bars (100 g each) Toblerone Swiss Milk Chocolate, broken into triangles
125 g (1/2 of 250 g pkg) Philadelphia Light Brick Cream Cheese, cubed
5 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar

Make it:
Heat oven to 300°F.

Microwaveable milk in large microwaveable  bowl on MEDIUM for 3 minutes or until boiling. Carefully remove bowl from microwave. Add chocolate and cream cheese; beat with whisk until well blended. Add egg yolks; mix well.





Pour into 4 (1/2 cup) ramekins; place in shallow baking dish. Add enough water to baking dish to come halfway up the sides of ramekins.



Bake 45 to 50 minutes or just until centers are set. Cool completely. Refrigerate 8 hours.



Heat broiler just before serving. Sprinkle custards with sugar; broil 2 minutes or until sugar is browned and melted.

omg! i just had a creme brulee last night! toblerone! who doesn't love that?! that was one of my favorite chocolate bars when i was little because of the triangles! oh, you just brought me back to my childhood days! :)

Oh my. This looks so delicious and thanks to your instructions, really simple to make and try myself. Though, does it really take close to 10 hours to make?!?!

Yummy! I'm thinking of trying this recipe during Christmas time! Instructions with photos make them that much easier to bake, and I know what to expect it to look like!
