It's okay...

...to think that there are so many messed up people in the world. First, a man is eating another man's face in Miami, then a guy from Montreal, cuts up a body and mails out the body parts and then there is a guy in Seattle who shoots and kills five innocent people in a coffee shop before he turns the gun on himself. What is this world coming to? These incident are like horrific movie scenes, this should not be happening in real life.

...to pay full price to watch Think Like a Man. It was so worth it just to see the Kevin Hart parts. He is hilarious! Not familiar with Kevin Hart? Watch this.

...to still have One Direction (More than This) and The Wanted (Chasing the Sun and Gold Forever) songs on constant repeat. What can I say, I heart boy bands.

...to be in your mid-30s and have dip-dyed hair even though your husband hates it with a passion. I get dirty looks from him every time I am fixing my hair.

...to cancel several trip plans because you are broke. I am being a grown-up about things these days. I can't go spending money when I don't have it.

...to pronouce PINTEREST like Pin-interest, I get it now - Pin-terest. However you pronounce it, I love it and it's so addicting.

...to want to stop following some people on Instagram because there photos are just not that interesting. Is that mean to say?

...to washi tape everything in sight because you like how the masking tape looks on things.

...to be content with your life even though you may not have much of a social life. I really like spending time with my husband (although he seems annoyed by me most of the time).

...to tell you that I leave for Mexico in a week and I am super friggin excited!!!!

Eeeeks! Mexico!!! Exciting!!!!
I was so worried I wasn't going on a beach vacation this year coz I had wanted to go to Cabos. Hawaii definitely made up for it.

The world is a seriously messed up place. Scary stuff.

Ugh, being an adult sucks. I've canceled numerous vacations after realizing we didnt have the money for them. Sucks. Also, I'm totally jealous of your upcoming vacation.

Now I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out if I have you on Instagram or not haha. I'm so jealous you're going to Mexico soon and hope you enjoy the Haribo there! And I agree ... scary messed up people are running wild and it's pretty scary.

P.S. Chasing the Sun is THE BEST.

yes, it is responsible to not spend money that you don't have. i always liked people who were honest about their financial situations, i don't need the knitty gritty but i'd rather have people who are honest about it than pretend they can afford things then have no money to front when payments come up.

LOL on hanging out with your hubs but he seems annoyed by it. i'm sure he isn't!

I always love these lists of yours! :) I want to see "Think Like a Man" so bad! Glad to see you liked it! We went and saw "Snow White & the Huntsman" on Saturday and it was good, but a little on the long side and I was wanting more romance! haha But Chris Hemsworth totally made up for that ;)

Like you I LOVE my boybands! :) Always & forever! But I'm not familiar with these new ones like One Direction and the Wanted. I'll have to check them out :)

Girl I need to definitely stop spending money that I don't have :( Easier said then done! But admitting that is the first step to sticking with it, so thanks for the reminder.

I signed up for Instagram, but haven't ever used it. Do you like it? Aside from other people's boring pics? You told me to sign up for Twitter all that time ago and I never listened. Now it's the most incredible thing in the world to me and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner :) haha

Mike sounds just like my husband (he's always annoyed with me too! haha)

SO excited for you and Mexico!!! Can't wait to hear the review and get lost in your pics!!!

Ooh this is a good post!

1)I can (sadly) name and recognize all the members of One Direction.
2)You saw "Think Like a Man"? I want to watch "That's My Boy" with Adam Sandler, and hubby thinks I'm cuckoo for wanting to see it in theatres.
3)I don't want to buy washi tape because I'm afraid I will washi everything in sight!
4)Go ahead and delete people off Instagram - you know how I've muted people off Twitter
5)I'm glad that you're content with your social life, whether you're super social or not. Who cares, right?
6)Trip cancellations? We need to make the grown-up decisions, and I'm proud of you for voicing where you're at.

xoxo
